"The Price is Right" is a beloved game show that was hosted by Bob Barker from 1972 to 2007, and Drew Carey from 2007 to the present. Technically, "The Price is Right" debuted in 1956 and ran throughout the '60s, per Celebrity Net Worth, but it wasn't a hit until the producers revamped the concept and hired Barker — and a gaggle of models to showcase the prizes.
Dubbed "Barker's Beauties" (per the Los Angeles Times),the models of the 1970s, '80s, and '90s were Janice Pennington, Dian Parkinson, and Holly Hallstrom. They've long since retired and been replaced with a new, younger, co-ed group of models. Back in those days, "The Price is Right" models were paid $2,000 to tape a week's worth of hour-long shows.
Today, "The Price is Right" models — Rachel Reynolds, Amber Lancaster, Manuela Arbeláez, James O'Halloran, and Devin Goda — make roughly $100,000 per season, per TV OverMind, which works out to $2,173.91 a week for the 46 weeks the show tapes. However, the fact is that no two models work every single day on every single taping — this means they don't get paid on days they don't work. Every model also has a different contract and a model who is new to the show is likely not making as much as Reynolds, who has been with the game show since 2003.
Let's take a look at the five models currently showing off the prizes on "The Price is Right."
Rachel Reynolds is married to a former pro baseball player

Rachel Reynolds is the longest-tenured current model on "The Price is Right," and the only model to have also worked on the Bob Barker-hosted version of the popular game show, per Distractify. She is from Mandeville, La., and a 2001 graduate of Louisiana State University, where she was a member of the Tigers' Track and Field team, per LSU Sports.
Reynolds has a busy modeling career outside of "The Price is Right" as well. She's the spokesmodel for LA Fitness, has modeled Venus swimwear for 10 years, and has been on the cover of Fitness RX magazine six times, per her "Price is Right" bio. She's also appeared on "The Bold and the Beautiful," "How I Met Your Mother," and "Jack and Jill," per IMDb. She and former professional baseball player David Dellucci married on February 13, 2010. Three years later, the couple welcomed their daughter Ruby Rey, per Distractify.
During her time off from "The Price is Right," she volunteers with the Wounded Warrior Project, and she and her husband and daughter love to travel to new places and enjoy the outdoors, per her bio. They've recently traveled to Napa Valley, California, and Asheville, N.C.. Her favorite vacation spot, however, is Costa Rica, where she enjoys the beaches, white water rafting, zip-lining through the jungle, and the friendly people.
Amber Lancaster was Miss Washington Teen USA

Amber Lancaster has been a model on "The Price is Right" since 2008. She is from Tacoma, Wash. and was Miss Washington Teen USA in 1998. She was a member of the Seattle Seahawks cheerleading squad the Sea Gal for five seasons, per her "The Price is Right" bio. After her time as a Sea Gal, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her acting and dancing career.
As a model, Lancaster has been featured in Maxim, Us Weekly, People, Life & Style, and Star. She's also been a part of Maxim's "Hot 100" list, per her bio. As an actor, she has appeared on "The Hard Times of RJ Berger" on MTV as well as on "Days of Our Lives," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "CSI: Miami," "Community," Entourage," "Attack of the Show!," "The Scream Awards," and in the feature film "Redline," per IMDb.
Lancasterand AJ Allodi have been married since October 2017. They welcomed their son Russell Levi in August 2019, per IMDb. She also has her own interior design business called Lancaster Interiors (via Gray Malin). Like Rachel Reynolds, her favorite vacation spot is Costa Rica for all of its activities, as well as the fact that the country is eco-friendly and many of the hotels are solar-powered, per her bio. Since she gets her hair and makeup done every day at work, on her days off, she prefers sweats, a ponytail, and no makeup.
Manuela Arbelaez is the first Hispanic model in The Price is Right history

Manuela Arbeláez was born in Medellín, Colombia, and moved to the United States in 2006. She entered the 2008 "The Price is Right" Model Search, where she became a finalist and caught the eye of the producers of the game show and was hired to be one of "Carey's Cuties," per her "The Price is Right" bio.
Arbeláezhas also modeled at the 54th Grammy Awards in 2012 and Complex Magazine named her the "Hottest Game Show Eye Candy." She is also an actor who appeared with Rachel Reynolds in the film "Jack and Jill" as well as on "The Bold and the Beautiful," and in the music videos "Loving You No More" by Diddy and Dirty Money and Robin Thicke's "It's in the Mornin'," per IMDb.
Arbeláez and Matthew Doherty have been married since February 2018 and welcomed their daughter Matilda Margaret in 2019, per IMDb. When she's not working on "The Price is Right," she does other modeling gigs, shops, and goes to the spa. When it comes to her favorite vacation spot, she loves the Bahamas because it "is the perfect place to relax and get away from all the city traffic and pollution," per her bio.
James O'Halloran is from Melbourne, Australia
James O'Halloran grew up in Melbourne, Australia watching the Australian version of "The Price is Right." He won "The Price is Right" Male Model Search in 2014 and joined the cast then, per his "The Price is Right" bio. He moved to the U.S. to pursue a career in the entertainment industry after working as an industrial designer in Australia.
O'Halloran has acted in feature films, short films, music videos, and plays. He's appeared on "The Young and the Restless," "The Mindy Project," "Jane the Virgin," "Superstore," and "Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders," per IMDb.
O'Halloranand Jaimee Gooley have been married since 2016. They welcomed their son Max in July 2021, per Instagram. Their favorite place to travel together is Tulum, Mexico, and back home, James loves Byron Bay in the Sydney area, per his bio. As he is rather new to the U.S., James also loves jumping in his car and exploring Malibu, Los Olivos, La Jolla, Las Vegas, Yosemite, Big Sur, and Baja.
Devin Goda is a former professional football player for the Baltimore Ravens

Devin Goda is from Pittsburgh, Penn., where he grew up spending time on his grandparents' farm, per his "The Price is Right" bio. He played wide receiver on the football team at Slippery Rock University. He was the second-leading wide receiver in the history of the university. In his college career, he had 173 receptions and 2,259 receiving yards, per Touchdown Wire.
He was not drafted out of college and signed with the NFL's Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent after college. He played in two preseason games before sustaining an injury to his hamstring that ended his pro football career in 2013, per Touchdown Wire. Once his football career was over, he pursued a career in modeling. He's appeared in national campaigns for a number of high-profile brands including Calvin Klein, Under Armor, and Macy's, per his bio.
Unlike the other "The Price is Right" models, Goda isn't pursuing an acting career at this point in time. But he has reflected on how his football career helped with his new career modeling on "The Price is Right." In a People Live interview (via Touchdown Wire), he said, "[With] 'The Price is Right' you have to know everything. You have to know camera angles, you have to know lines. It's just kinda like the playbook in football. You have to know what you're doing, where you're doing, you have to know where you're looking at."
